ReelGrab is built to be privacy-respecting. We do not require accounts or logins.

What we don't collect

• No accounts, no sign-up, no personal profiles.
• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not permanently store the Instagram links you paste or the media you download — links are processed in real time to generate a download and are not retained long-term.

What we process

• Request data: standard server logs (e.g. IP address, timestamp, error codes) used transiently for abuse prevention, rate limiting, and reliability. We aim to keep retention minimal.
• Analytics: privacy-friendly, cookieless aggregate usage metrics may be used to understand traffic. No cross-site tracking.

Cookies & advertising

ReelGrab currently runs without advertising. If advertising is introduced later, this policy will be updated and, where required (e.g. for EU/UK visitors), a consent mechanism will be shown before any advertising or non-essential cookies are set.

Third parties

Downloaded media is served from Instagram's own content delivery network. We are not responsible for Instagram's or Meta's data practices.
